Ben Newman Mask

Ben Newman is a freelance illustrator who made a big splash at the London Design Festival with his work at Noborrow.

What I enjoyed about this work was not the primitivism which some in the media are fasinated about. Come on that is so disappointing and very tiring concept, I like to see next to each other.

I think masks is just another medium, his work seems to be about perceptions and improvisation.

You could argue that this is the same idea, but is it really? In a way this might be a jazz standard, played a little differently each time.
