We have a series on Castles which is worth perusing, now look at the eauty that is Hearst Castle.
Sometimes I try to get away from modern design and look at period design, because it captures what is great about the past. OIn fact the Hearst Castle was not built but William Randolph Hearst, the press baron but by his father who was a miner.
